Creation:  This tiara was made in 1956 by Van Cleef & Arpels and can also be worn as a necklace.  It was made using emerald jewellery that Grand Duchess Joséphine Charlotte inherited from her mother, Queen Astrid of Belgium, who in turn received them from her mother, Princess Ingeborg of Sweden.
