Queen Mary of the United Kingdom's Gloucester Honeysuckle Tiara

Creation:  This tiara was made in 1914 by E. Wolff & Co. for Garrard using diamonds from the dismantled County of Surrey Tiara and left over diamonds from the Ladies of England Tiara.  The center of the tiara was made to use the Cullinan V, a sapphire and diamond brooch, and a pink topaz and diamond brooch interchangeably.  Queen Mary later had the center of the tiara lowered and new diamond honeysuckle made to use in place of the other three stones.  When Queen Mary gave the tiara to Princess Alice, she only gave her the diamond honeysuckle center but Princess Alice later inherited the pink topaz brooch and acquired a cabochon emerald central piece.
