Queen Elena of Italy's Diamond Floral Tiara

Creation: This tiara was made by Musy in 1896 using jewelry that belonged to Queen Margherita.  The tiara could be worn without the arches and the flowers could be worn as brooches.

  1. Queen Elena of Italy née Princess of Montenegro; from King Umberto I and Queen Margherita on the occasion of her 1896 wedding to King Victor Emmanuel III
  2. Italian Government; Queen Elena gave the tiara to the President of the Council of Ministers in 1915 when Italy entered WWI to help the Italian people
