Queen Alexandrine of Denmark's Sapphire Tiara

Creation: This tiara was made by Bolin in 1897-1898. It could be worn as both a necklace and a tiara but Princess Caroline-Mathilde had A. Michelsen permanently change it into a tiara.

1. Queen Alexandrine of Denmark née Duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin; from Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra of Russia on the occasion of her 1898 marriage to King Christian X of Denmark
2. Princess Caroline-Mathilde of Denmark; from her mother-in-law on the occasion of her 1933 marriage to Prince Knud 
3. Count Christian of Rosenborg; from his mother in 1963 but she retained the use of it until her death in 1995
   
4. Countess Anne Dorte of Rosenborg née Maltoft-Nielsen; from her husband on the occasion of her 50th birthday in 1997
   
5. Countesses Josephine, Camilla, & Feodora of Rosenborg; inherited from their mother in 2014
6. Unknown Owner; bought at auction at Bruun Rasmussen in November 2018 for 304,680 USD and loaned to the Amalienborg Museum
