 Creation: This tiara was created by Mikimoto in 1917 using diamond chrysanthemum brooches that they had made for Empress Teimei in 1915.

    This tiara was created by Mikimoto, in 1917, the first time the domestic jeweller created the Imperial tiara (a brooch was created earlier in 1915 by Mikimoto).
