Creation:  This tiara was made in 1956 by Van Cleef & Arpels and can also be worn as a necklace.  It was made using two emerald pendants that Grand Duchess Joséphine Charlotte inherited from her mother, Queen Astrid of Belgium, who in turn received them from her mother, Princess Ingeborg of Sweden.
